My Facial Treatment moment which worth RM598 by Celmonze

On 6th of November 2010, I managed to take some time off and fixed an appointment despite my tight schedule at work just to get some self-pampering ^_^. As mentioned in my previous post at the briefing by Celmonze, I received my complimentary facial treatment from them worth RM598. Woot! (excited konon)

Celmonze, a Parisian based skincare brand offers products that brings new hope to the term ‘beauty’ to women of all ages with the breakthrough technology in Skin-Cell Beauty Solutions range which propels skin cells to renew and revive so that true beauty may re-surge and comes to life.

The range of products Celmonze offers uses natural active ingredients and formula made out of the purest biological, botanical and marine extracts.

The entire product comes in individual packs.

Prior to the treatment session, I was given a questionnaire so that they would be able to analyze our lifestyle that contributes to our skin’s condition (normal/dry/oily skin). Only after the questionnaire that I was ushered into a room to change into a robe but I managed to snap some photos before I did! By the way, the treatment should take about 2 hours or above.

And the treatment begins~!

I felt too comfortable as I was enjoying the treatment that I didn’t manage to actually have a breakdown of each product that was applied on my face. However, I did manage to ask the staff there to snap photos while I was undergoing the blissful treatment. I can, however, feel the changes in temperature as cold towels were applied before the “Super Apple” wrap (contains the mask) and a warm towel right after that. Finally, after dozing off a little, the therapist applied toner on my skin, as well as the GENETIQUE Stem Cell Synthesis Active Cream and Sunblock as a finishing touch as a protective layer.

I didn’t even realize that 2 hours passed by so fast! I did notice changes in my skin’s texture though. It is now firmer, smoother and glowing. The therapist told me that I have sensitive skin, thus why I haven’t been doing facials except for once before this.

The next phase to maintain my new skin texture is by using the products which I received previously, daily.

I want to express my gratitude to Advertlets and Celmonze for the amazing experience. I will definitely come back again for more treatments to prep my skin for Christmas or Chinese New Year so that I will be glowing throughout.

You Again - The Movie

Just back from Cathay Cineplexes e@curve watching "You Again" oh ya u again ar... haiz... =_=

You Again is a 2010 American comedy film directed by Andy Fickman and written by Moe Jelline. It stars Kristen Bell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver, Odette Yustman and Betty White.

You Again almost gleefully aims for the bottom of the barrel, jettisoning everything from consistency of character to every last ounce of dignity once possessed by its cast (Jamie Lee Curtis is particularly hard to watch; you don't know if you want to offer a consoling hug or merely put her out of her misery). I've often complained about movies that feel like they were written by screenwriting computer programs and You Again is no different than its many preceding offenders; Moe Jeline's script reeks of paint-by-numbers gutlessness, cobbled together out of musty clichés as it pussyfoots around themes of revenge and high school-instilled psychosis with nary enough depth to get a toe wet, all the while buying into overlapping values of materialism and selflessness that, to the film's lone credit, reflect less in the way of a creative schism than they do the heavily contradicted culture that spawned the movie in the first place. Kristen Bell is Marni, a former high school outcast who makes the horrifying discovery that her brother, Will (James Wolk), is going to marry her former mean-girl rival, Joanna (Odette Yustman). Marni's mother Gail (Curtis) assures her that the past isn't worth fretting about, but fails to do the same when her own former nemesis, Joanna's aunt, Ramona (Sigourney Weaver), arrives for the festivities. And so it goes.

Concerning such endless cycles of human frustration, You Again's shallow hysteria barely counts as existential lip service (I kept thinking of Chuck Jones's One Froggy Evening as a distant antithesis to this train wreck). Poorly conceived (and executed) slapstick, vainly contrived dance numbers, and disproportionate displays of idiocy are less in the way of comedic meat and potatoes than they are a watered-down broth intended to stretch things out to the feature-length mark. Friends will become enemies, enemies will become friends, hugs will be shared, lessons will be learned, and impromptu rap numbers will be executed. Had the film flown off the handle a little more frequently and with a little more zeal, it might have come off as a halfhearted attempt at dadaist insanity. Instead, You Again doesn't even qualify as half-assed.
