IMAX opening at TGV Sunway Pyramid

13 Dec 2011 – TGV Cinemas has officially launched their digital IMAX theater in conjunction with the release of "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" at the newly refurbished TGV Sunway Pyramid.

From 10am which i can see attended by the media, invited guests, VIP's as all of us welcomed by special goodie bag + light refreshment drinks while waiting others guest to arrive.



TGV's CEO Kenny Wong and IMAX's Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Don Savant introducing the latest addition to the local cinema industry.

Initially 2 cinema halls, TGV Cinemas has decided to combine them to form a single IMAX theater which comes fully equipped with the industry’s latest technology including IMAX projection technology along with powerful digital audio capabilities. To top it all off, the unique geometry of the architecture allows for all 292 seats to come with more legroom (*that's good news for me as you knw my height!) and an incredibly impressive movie experience which i feel awesomeness & amazing changes!

Right after the launching, we were serve some lunch then by 1pm we are among the 1st people get to watch Mission Impossible 4 : Ghost Protocol Screening in IMAX!

In conjunction with the IMAX opening, TGV along with United International Pictures (UIP) screened "Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" which was filmed partially with IMAX cameras for the attendees ahead of its local release this 15 December 2011 in Malaysia.

After the movie ended, of course picture time loh! haha..

Of course not forgetting to thanks Cynthia for the invitation which is my luckkies moment to experience such a great event & movie on IMAX!

The new IMAX theatre will be open to the public starting 14 December 2011 and tickets are priced at RM21-RM23 for 2D movies while 3D movies range from RM26-RM28.

In addition to this, they also announced new premier halls which have been named the TGV CLUB expected to be available by January 2012.
